Au moyen d’une analyse des activités que comprend l’Agence Photo de la Rmn-GP, il s’agit de faire l’état des dynamiques qui participent à la fabrique des images. Ce travail articule analyses théoriques et pratiques afin de comprendre en quoi l’origine, la constitution et l’organisation d’un fonds de reproduction d’œuvres d’art prennent part à la construction de leurs représentations.The aim is to study the processes of knowledge creation through the artwork documentation carried out by cultural institutions. Through an analysis of the Rmn - GP photographic agency activities, the objective is to appreciate the dynamics that contribute to the image-making.
