Tout en gardant sa vocation de haut niveau la bibliothèque doit entrer dans le projet de création d'une médiathèque intégrant un Centre de Ressources sur la France contemporaine.The library of the French Latin-American Institute is part of project for a new organization of the french offer of documents in Mexico-City. This project was initiated by the Ministery of Foreign Affairs to increase the already rich French cultural offer in Mexico-City. Weeding and renewing the holdings of the Library are necessary operations to complete its age-old search for high-standards.
